Following recent market growth and acquisitions, NTT DATA Business Solutions is expanding its data services portfolio. As a Senior Data Migration Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping, delivering, and overseeing SAP Data Migration projects.

You will collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and customer teams to design, guide, and validate data migration solutions using modern tools and AI-enabled automation. While some day-to-day migration tasks will increasingly be automated, your expertise will ensure quality, efficiency, and business value across projects.

This is a senior technical-consulting role that balances hands‑on technical credibility, solution oversight, and customer‑facing advisory responsibilities.

• Lead or participate in SAP Data Migration engagements, covering the full ETL process chain from initial data assessments to post-GoLive support.
• Guide the adoption and implementation of modern migration tools, including Natuvion DCS, SAP Migration Cockpit, Data Services, LSMW, and AI‑enhanced automation workflows.
• Validate and quality‑assure migration routines, ensuring alignment with project objectives, governance, and business requirements.
• Support presales efforts and RFP responses by providing expert guidance on migration strategy, methodology, and tooling.
• Manage relationships and expectations with project stakeholders, representing the Data Practice internally and externally.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, building capability in both technical and advisory aspects of data migration.
• Contribute to practice development, refining methodology, improving toolset usage, and capturing lessons learned for future projects.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and reuse of accelerators across projects.
• Conduct risk assessments of data streams and migration processes, escalating issues and recommending pragmatic, value‑driven solutions.
• Support global project teams, working effectively across multiple time zones and adapting to project and client needs.

• Technical Expertise
• Strong experience with SAP Data Migration tools:
  Migration Cockpit, Data Services, LSMW, and familiarity with selective data transition tools.
• Solid ABAP knowledge for designing, validating, and supporting migration routines.
• Deep understanding of SAP table structures, master data, and core business processes.
• Awareness of AI‑enabled automation, modern ETL / ELT frameworks, and next‑generation migration tooling.
• Beneficial: experience with SAP MDG, data archiving, or non‑SAP data systems.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and end‑to‑end SAP transformation life cycles.
