Senior Analytics Engineer

Overview

Senior Analytics Engineer – Birmingham (one day per week). Permanent role with a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.

• Help deliver organisational strategy, supporting data projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Drive improvements within Power BI reporting solutions in partnership with external vendors, maintaining system architecture.
• Utilise Azure SQL Data Warehouse to generate data solutions that enable self-service analytics.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to define reporting needs, translating complex concepts into clear business requirements and technical specifications.
• Advise on optimal approaches to data development, moving away from legacy wherever possible.
• Train and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of shared knowledge and career development.

• Advanced Power BI capabilities.
• Proficient in Dev Ops practices.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Server.
• Experience leading stakeholders through requirements gathering processes.
• Strong attention to detail, guaranteeing accuracy across all aspects of solution development.
• Outstanding communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
