The role would suit an SEO Specialist who is confident working directly with stakeholders, comfortable owning SEO strategy end-to-end, and experienced in an agency-style setting.
SEO SPECIALIST ROLE- Own and deliver SEO strategy end-to-end across multiple websites or accounts
- Conduct competitor analysis and in-depth keyword research
- Carry out technical and on-page website audits
- Identify opportunities to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions
- Translate SEO insight into clear, actionable recommendations
- Support and advise on SEO-led content strategies
- Communicate performance, insights, and next steps clearly and confidently
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and performance using SEO and analytics tools
Stay up to date with algorithm updates, industry trends, and best practices - Collaborate with wider digital teams to ensure SEO is integrated across activity
- Proven experience in an SEO-focused role
- Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Confidence working in a stakeholder or client-facing environment
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to explain SEO activity clearly to non-technical audiences
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Exposure to multiple industries or websites
- Understanding of content performance and search intent
- Commercially aware with a focus on outcomes
- Comfortable owning SEO decisions and strategy
- Curious and proactive about SEO innovation
- Confident challenging performance and suggesting change
- Collaborative team player who works well cross-functionally
