Data Engineer

We’re supporting a growing financial services organisation in hiring a Data Engineer to join a small, high-impact Data & Analytics team.

This is an opportunity to work in a lean, fast-moving environment where you’ll have genuine ownership across data pipelines, modelling, and analytics infrastructure — not just maintenance work.

If you enjoy building clean, reliable data systems and working directly with stakeholders to turn requirements into practical solutions, this role offers strong visibility and influence.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Working with MS SQL Server to build and optimise data models
• Developing data processing solutions using Python
• Supporting analytics, reporting, and financial monitoring outputs
• Improving data quality, validation, and transformation processes
• Contributing to the evolution of modern Microsoft-based data tooling (e.g. Fabric exposure beneficial)

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Experience building and maintaining structured ETL workflows
• Comfortable working in a small team with autonomy
• Clear communicator who can gather requirements directly from stakeholders

Financial services experience is helpful but not essential.
