We’re looking for an Optimisation Consultant to lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across a complex digital and operational landscape within a regulated services environment.
This role sits at the intersection of process improvement, digital transformation, and change management. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to identify inefficiencies, redesign processes, and leverage technology — including automation and agile delivery — to drive measurable improvements in performance, compliance, and customer outcomes.
It’s a highly collaborative role with real scope to influence strategy, shape long‑term optimisation roadmaps, and deliver tangible value at scale.
THEROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned to strategic business goals
- Develop and deliver long‑term optimisation strategies that drive efficiency and innovation
- Partner with business functions to identify opportunities and implement enhancements
- Lead discovery, analysis, and process‑mapping activities across multiple functions
- Redesign end‑to‑end processes to eliminate waste and improve productivity
- Apply systems thinking to identify root causes and sustainable improvements
- Leverage digital capabilities including automation, RPA, and agile delivery methods
- Use data and analytics to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Define and track KPIs to measure the success of optimisation initiatives
- Lead change management activity to support adoption of new processes and ways of working
- Present recommendations and progress updates to senior and executive stakeholders
SKILLS:
- Experience in process improvement, optimisation, or transformation roles
- Background in regulated environments such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare
- Strong capability in process mapping and lean methodologies
- Experience applying agile ways of working, automation, or RPA to improve operations
- Confident managing multiple initiatives or projects in parallel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Comfortable influencing and communicating with senior stakeholders
- Experience creating and delivering executive‑level presentations
- Formal process improvement certifications (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience leading or mentoring project or improvement teams
- Understanding of compliance, regulatory, and operational risk considerations
