Senior SAP UI5 & Fiori Developer | Frontend & OData

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 framework based on business requirements.
• Customize standard SAP Fiori apps using extensibility options and SAP Web IDE.
• Build and implement custom UI5 applications using JavaScript, XML views, and OData services.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Integrate front-end applications with SAP Gateway and back-end systems.
• Work on performance tuning and optimization of UI5 applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across all devices and screen sizes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile or Waterfall methodology.
• Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and regression) of developed applications.
• Maintain proper documentation for development, troubleshooting, and user manuals.
• Adhere to SAP development standards and UI guidelines.
• Develop OData services for Fiori applications integration using ABAP and SAP Gateway.
• Ensure compliance with company security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with SAP BASIS and Security teams for role-based access and transport management.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and actively suggest innovative solutions.
• Support existing Fiori applications and troubleshoot production issues promptly.
• Train end users and provide post-implementation support.
• Participate in SAP upgrade/migration projects impacting Fiori/UI5 solutions.
• Maintain code version control using Git, Git Hub, or similar tools.
• Ensure the UX is intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with end-user expectations.
