Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Digital & IT Services, the successful candidate will lead the Application Team and act as the University’s design authority for application architecture. You will have strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, system design, APIs, databases, and application security, alongside experience managing or leading technical teams and balancing operational delivery with strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and influence decision‑making at senior levels. Experience of working within ITIL‑aligned environments, strong problem‑solving capability, and a passion for technology and continuous improvement are essential.
