About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Digital Copywriter to join a leading financial services organisation on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to create impactful, customer-focused content that helps businesses navigate growth, change, and digital transformation.
Working within a collaborative marketing team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality digital content across a range of owned channels. You'll play a key role in driving customer engagement, supporting SEO performance, enhancing brand authority, and delivering content that simplifies complex financial products and services for business audiences.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with marketing, product, digital, data, and insight teams to create content that supports business growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities- Create clear, compelling, and compliant digital content for business banking audiences across websites, landing pages, campaigns, and content hubs.
- Develop SEO-focused content that improves organic search performance, visibility, and customer engagement.
- Produce insight-led articles, guides, educational content, and thought leadership pieces that strengthen brand credibility and customer understanding.
- Translate complex financial products and services into simple, accessible, customer-friendly language.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, product experts, designers, and digital marketers to deliver integrated content solutions.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Edit, proofread, and optimise content to maintain exceptional standards of quality, accuracy, accessibility, and consistency.
- Use analytics, performance data, and customer insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.
- Support campaign planning and content calendar development in line with wider business objectives.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Stay informed on emerging digital content trends, platform developments, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in digital copywriting, content creation, or content marketing, ideally within financial services, B2B environments, or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and search-led content optimisation.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- Knowledge of user journeys, conversion-focused content, and customer experience best practices.
- Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted content tools responsibly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, product, compliance, legal, and digital teams.
- Data-literate mindset with experience using analytics and performance metrics to inform content decisions.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in how content supports business growth and customer engagement.
- Degree qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
