adi Group Services Internal IT Technician

Location – Kings Norton, Birmingham (Head Office)

About

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Internal IT Technician to join our IT team at our Birmingham Head Office. As part of this small team, you will support over 500 users across the adi Group, playing a key role in delivering first‑line technical support while gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies and business systems.

Specifically, Your

Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Provide first‑line helpdesk support to over 500 users across the adi Group, ensuring tickets are resolved or escalated appropriately
  • Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and authorised software
  • Set up and support mobile devices using Microsoft Intune (Android and iOS)
  • Support Microsoft 365 services including password resets, MFA, licensing, and user administration
  • Create and manage user accounts through Active Directory and Exchange as part of joiner, mover, and leaver processes
  • Assist with support of networking, VPN connectivity, and remote locations
  • Work collaboratively within the IT team to deliver a high‑quality support service
About You

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment (advantageous)
  • Experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical users
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
