Overview

Goldman Sachs Internal Audit focuses on evaluating the firm's internal controls, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on improving control processes. The team provides independent assurance and raises awareness of control risks across all business areas, including securities, investment banking, consumer and investment management, risk management, finance, cyber‑security, and technology.

As a Technology Auditor, you will audit various technology systems and applications to confirm the effectiveness of application controls, data quality, and regulatory reporting processes. Your work supports the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Risk Committee in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities.

• Conduct independent assessments of technology processes and controls, analyzing risks and evaluating design and operating effectiveness.
• Document assessments and test results, and discuss findings with local and global management.
• Track and follow up on the resolution of audit findings and open risks.

• BE/B Tech, MCA, MBA in Systems, MSc, or equivalent university degree in technology.
• 3–6 years of experience as a technology auditor covering IT applications and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of software development concepts and system architecture.
• Basic level knowledge of cloud infrastructure, databases, operating systems, and messaging.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL.
• Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, willing to learn new business and system processes quickly.

• Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of cyber security.
• Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CISA).
• Knowledge of financial products and services.
