The role is responsible for pre-implementation data gathering and validation for True Commerce clients and trading partners. They will act as the primary contact throughout the pre-implementation process, up to the point of handover to the implementation teams.

This position works with clients, customers, retailers, 3rd party IT consultants and internal teams. This key resource will be responsible for ensuring that all information and pre-implementation milestones have been met, so that follow-on teams can complete their work. The position is ideal for individuals who are organised, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience.

• Facilitate the EDI pre-implementation process for True Commerce customers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer during the pre-implementation period
• Manage multiple projects and work with multiple clients and/or partners
• Complete pre-implementation tasks and coordinate activities with the customer, trading partners and True Commerce team members
• Identify and communicate issues and escalate to the Manager or appropriate parties
• Gather, review and validate all required customer, trading partner and retailer data to ensure it is complete and accurate before handover
• Complete internal intake tasks, including logging new projects, setting up records and populating relevant fields in True Commerce systems and tools
• Request, chase and collect outstanding information from clients, trading partners and 3rd party IT consultants to keep the pre-implementation process moving
• Verify data against True Commerce requirements and standards, identifying gaps or errors prior to handover
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of gathered data and intake activity to provide an audit trail for follow-on teams
• Work cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction and drive timely completion of milestones ahead of handover
• Prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations
• Collaborate with Implementation Specialists, Mapping Specialists and other resources to ensure data gathering and validation are complete and accurate before projects are handed over
• Recognise and document issues or concerns uncovered during the pre-implementation process to prevent reoccurrence and support a smooth handover
• Provide timely project status updates and reporting to Managers and other appropriate parties
• Keep pre-implementation tasks, data and key information up-to-date in True Commerce PSA tools to give follow-on teams full visibility at handover

• BA, MBA, Certification in IT, Accounting, or similar work experience, ideally 1-2 years
• Enthusiasm to learn and get involved in pre-implementation, data gathering or intake tasks with a willingness to take ownership under guidance
• Confidence to act as a point of contact for customers during the pre-implementation phase with professional communication across calls, emails, and other channels
• Well organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage details in a busy environment
• Aptitude for gathering, documenting and validating customer requirements or specifications accurately
• Keen eye for detail when checking data or working with customers to collect and confirm information
• Experience with Microsoft Office and internet applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional interaction with customers and colleagues
• Strong time management and prioritization skills to follow tasks through to completion
