Role

This role involves working with one of our key public sector clients on a large-scale enterprise transformation programme focused on modernising and standardising critical business services through a shared Oracle Fusion platform.

The Test PMO will play a key role in supporting the governance, planning, reporting, and control of programme-wide testing activities across multiple work streams. Working closely with Test Managers, UAT Leads, business stakeholders, programme leadership, and delivery partners, you will ensure testing activities are effectively coordinated, tracked, and reported to support informed decision-making and successful delivery outcomes.

You will help maintain robust governance processes, monitor testing progress against plans, manage risks and dependencies, and produce high-quality reporting to provide clear visibility of programme readiness. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PMO professional with exposure to testing environments or large-scale technology transformation programmes.

Experience working within a testing function, programme test office, or test management environment would be highly advantageous.

This Position Requires
  • Testing Governance & Control: Supporting the governance framework for programme-wide testing activities, ensuring adherence to agreed processes, controls, reporting standards, and milestones.
  • Programme Reporting: Producing accurate and timely reporting on testing progress, risks, issues, dependencies, defects, resource utilisation, and overall readiness status for senior stakeholders.
  • Planning & Coordination: Supporting the coordination of testing schedules, key milestones, entry and exit criteria, resource planning, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management: Tracking and maintaining testing risks, issues, actions, decisions, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working with Test Leads, Programme Managers, business stakeholders, and delivery partners to gather status updates and ensure effective communication across the programme.
  • Data Analysis & Assurance: Analysing testing metrics and management information to identify trends, potential risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Document & RAID Management: Maintaining programme governance artefacts including RAID logs, action trackers, reporting packs, testing plans, and meeting documentation.
  • Complex Programme

    Experience:

    Supporting testing activities within large-scale transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders, work streams, suppliers, and governance forums.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve testing governance, reporting processes, controls, and programme visibility.
  • Proven experience in a PMO, Programme Office, Project Controls, or Test PMO role.
  • Experience supporting testing programmes, test management offices, UAT functions, or large-scale technology delivery initiatives.
  • Understanding of the software testing lifecycle and testing governance principles.
  • Strong reporting and management information skills, including experience producing dashboards and programme status reports.
  • Experience managing RAID logs, actions, dependencies, milestones, and governance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
  • Experience working within public sector or highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
