About the roleAs an Endpoint and Infrastructure Engineer within the C & W IT team, you will play a key role in supporting, developing and improving our endpoint and infrastructure environment across the practice. Based in our Birmingham Studio, this is an opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and forward-thinking team, taking ownership of core technology services that help our people work securely, efficiently and effectively.
This varied role combines hands-on technical support, modern device management, infrastructure operations and continuous improvement. You will help maintain secure and reliable systems, support Microsoft-based technologies, manage device and application life cycles, and contribute to projects that strengthen the resilience and performance of our IT services.
The key role responsibilities are:- Taking ownership of the endpoint and infrastructure estate, including laptops, workstations, servers, mobile devices and core supporting services.
- Maintaining secure, compliant and reliable systems through device management, patching, vulnerability remediation and security baselines.
- Developing and supporting modern device management using Microsoft Intune, Entra , Autopilot and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Packaging, deploying and maintaining business-critical applications, supporting dependable software updates and lifecycle management.
- Contributing to infrastructure operations, service resilience and continuous improvement across a modern Microsoft-based environment.
- Take ownership of a modern Microsoft technology estate.
- Develop your skills in endpoint engineering, infrastructure, security and compliance.
- Gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra modern device management.
- Play a key role in technology improvement and transformation initiatives.
