SRE/Site Reliability, Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
Support and administration of the Auto Sys Workload Automation platform used to manage DWP batch scheduling services. The engineer will provide operational support, incident resolution, platform maintenance and participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota to maintain service availability.
Maintain operational support for the Auto Sys Workload Automation estate.
Maintain and optimise the BMC Helix platform suite.
Contribute to out-of-hours support arrangements and improve team resilience.
Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions supporting Flexera SaaS integration.
Provide engineering expertise and leadership to enable strategic work streams to continue whilst maintaining BAU services.
Support service availability, stability and operational effectiveness across DWP tooling services.
Resources must possess demonstrable experience of one or more of the following technologies:
- Auto Sys Workload Automation (WLA)
- BMC Helix Operations Manager (BHOM)
- BMC Helix Capacity Optimisation (BHCO)
- BMC Helix Discovery
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Dev Ops engineering practices
- Flexera Software Asset Management platform (desirable)
