Data Reporting Manager

Reporting to: Senior Data Reporting Manager

Location: London

Role Purpose

The Data Reporting Manager will promote, facilitate and implement strong data standard, be responsible for defining and delivering data governance activities that support operational objectives, prioritising the most material data sets and enabling an effective data operating model.

Key Responsibilities

• Promoting and communicating the value of data standards across the business, ensuring they are clearly understood and consistently applied
• Tracking, monitoring and reporting on business compliance with data standards
• Driving the use of automated data quality tools
• Ensuring operational activities are aligned to data standards and data governance objectives
• Working collaboratively with teams across the business to build a strong culture of data ownership and accountability
• Partnering with data owners to report on data quality issues and understand their root causes
• Advising on data governance best practice

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge of data quality and data governance analytical tools
• Strong data manipulation skills, including the application of advanced formulae
• Good understanding of Microsoft Power BI, Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of how insurance company data sets are used
