Were seeking a passionate and highly motivated Development Underwriter to join a regional team covering the Midlands region. As a development underwriter youll play a key role in writing new business advancing our underwriting strategy and fostering strong relationships with brokers partners and clients.

• Assess and evaluate new and renewal business within the P&C sector ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
• Underwrite a range of commercial lines with a keen eye for identifying profitable opportunities.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with brokers external partners and clients to promote business growth in a competitive market.
• Develop and execute underwriting strategies to achieve regional and corporate objectives.
• Stay current with Пок industry trends regulations and market developments to support informed decision-making.

• Possess proven experience (3 years) in underwriting across commercial lines.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to assess price and manage risk effectively.
• Have excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Are adept at working independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
