Insure Safe Line  is a dynamic, independent insurance brokerage based in Birmingham, committed to delivering tailored, market-leading solutions for clients across the U.K. It is one of nine businesses which sit within Your Support Line , a one-stop shop for financial services for SMEs. Founded in 2015, the business is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan over the next year and is seeking a new ‘Head of Insurance’, reporting directly to the business owner, to lead the business through this exciting period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader, with relevant commercial insurance technical knowledge and experience, to drive forward the business and lead a team of 5 people through an exciting expansion period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 5, including providing direct line management to two senior account executives.
  • Lead on the new business strategy to acquire a more diverse set of clients to grow the business.
  • Build and manage rigorous relationships with clients, via execution of a rigorous client engagement strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a range of insurers.
  • Engage with business heads across the parent group (Your Support Line ) to maximise client leads.
  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in insurance broking, account management, or sales.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance products claims handling processes and FCA regulation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with using the Acturis system.
  • Insurance qualification (e.g. CII) advantageous.
