Regional Claims Adjuster

Job Description

Are you looking to build your expertise in financial lines claims within a global insurance leader? Chubb is seeking a Regional Financial Lines Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse portfolio of claims, including Management Liability, Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Crime, Commercial Legal Liability (CLL), Directors & Officers (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI), and Healthcare. You’ll handle claims from notification to resolution, ensuring best practices and service standards are met.

The role will include Chubb Global Markets business written in North America, the UK, and Internationally.

• Negotiate and settle claims with policyholders, brokers, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage your own caseload for prompt and accurate settlements, including vendor expense control.
• Deliver excellent service in line with Chubb’s CODE framework and Claims Proposition.
• Collaborate with team members and third-party providers to maintain service standards.
• Represent Chubb at internal/external meetings with brokers, clients, and market representatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely, clear communication.
• Support senior adjusters, managers, and underwriters with projects and ad-hoc tasks.

• General awareness or working knowledge of insurance/reinsurance markets.
• Competence in Microsoft Office.
• Interest in or partial completion of ACII studies is an advantage.
• Experience in insurance, legal, risk management, or strong customer/client-focused roles preferred.
• Fluent in local language;
  English desirable; other European languages beneficial.
• Strong negotiation, planning, teamwork, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and escape complex cases as needed.
• Minimum GCSE, preferably A Level or equivalent.
• Legal qualification preferred but not essential.
