Following business growth, we have a Commercial Insurance Claims Adjuster opportunities in Birmingham.

You will manage a portfolio of claims across multiple line of businesses including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation of policy liability, legal liability (where appropriate) and quantum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of claims across multiple lines of business, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation of policy liability, legal liability (where appropriate), and quantum.
  • Deliver customer-focused outcomes by ensuring claims are handled efficiently and empathetically, maintaining high service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (including Underwriting), and third-party service providers to ensure claims service standards are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing feedback and contributing to projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the claims process and customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Solid technical claims handling experience, ideally across multiple lines of business.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service within a claims environment.
  • Practical and common-sense approach to resolving claims and customer issues.
  • Sound understanding of the insurance/reinsurance market (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external partners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Previous experience in a claims handling or adjusting role; cross line of business experience is advantageous.
