Senior Sports Claims Lead – responsible for managing and resolving liability, property, and personal accident claims in partnership with clients and insurers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and our internal policies.

• Lead and resolve liability claims with clients, insurers, and third parties.
• Prepare and present claims documentation to underwriters and respond to technical queries.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in internal systems.
• Negotiate claim settlements to achieve efficient outcomes for clients.
• Supervise delegated authority contracts and ensure effective management.
• Provide expert mentorship and regular updates to clients throughout the claims process.
• Contribute to internal projects and support wider team objectives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company procedures.
• Process collections, payments, and related data.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Strong experience
  ** in handling liability claims, ideally within an international broker.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and the claims‑handling process.
• Familiarity with London market operations (Lloyd’s and company markets).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confident working independently and making informed decisions.
• Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced team members.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
• Educated to A‑Level standard (grades A–C or equivalent); progression toward professional qualifications (e.g. CII) desirable but not essential.
