Are you an experienced Insurance and Claims professional looking for a role where you can genuinely own the agenda?

We're working with a complex, growing organisation to appoint an Insurance Manager to lead its insurance strategy, claims management and wider risk agenda.

This is a standalone role, so you'll need to be confident operating independently, influencing senior stakeholders and making decisions without relying on a large team around you.

The Role You'll take ownership of the organisation's insurance programme and claims function, working closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to protect the business and manage its overall cost of risk.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the insurance renewal programme and developing insurance strategy.

Managing insured and uninsured claims from start to resolution.

Managing relationships with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters and solicitors.

Advising senior management on insurance, claims and risk.

Analysing claims and loss trends to identify opportunities for risk reduction.

Supporting Legal and Commercial teams on contractual risk and new business opportunities.

Producing claims, loss and financial reporting for senior stakeholders.

Working with operational and safety teams to improve risk management and loss prevention.

About You You'll have proven experience in insurance and claims management, ideally gained within a complex, operational or asset-intensive environment.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

Infrastructure | Engineering | Construction | Property | Transport | Logistics Most importantly, you'll be someone who is:

Comfortable operating as a standalone specialist.

Commercially minded with strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and external advisers.

Analytical, organised and able to manage complexity.

Proactive and hands-on - someone who takes ownership and gets things done.
