This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in both vehicle damage assessment and motor claims engineering who enjoys making technical decisions, managing stakeholder relationships and influencing claims outcomes.

The position would suit an individual currently working as a Motor Engineer, Insurance Engineer, Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) or Bodyshop Estimator who has hands-on experience assessing motor insurance claims and is looking to join a highly regarded and well-established operation. You must have minimum of a AQP or ATA (VDA) standard qualification. Key Responsibilities

• Assess accident-damaged vehicles and make expert engineering decisions throughout the motor claims journey.
• Review repair estimates, approve repair methodologies and negotiate repair costs with repairers and approved repair networks.
• Determine repair versus total loss outcomes, ensuring fair, consistent and commercially sound decisions.
