About The Role

Solicitor – Property Insurance.

Our Property Insurance team works with many of the UK’s leading property insurers, handling a wide range of claims arising from fires, floods, escapes of water, storms, explosions, vehicle impacts and other causes of property damage. The team manages a mixture of high‑profile and high‑value matters and is continuing to grow as we win work from both existing and new clients.

• Managing a caseload of predominantly multi‑track property damage claims (claimant work)
• Handling coverage disputes and providing clear, commercially‑focused advice to clients.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and industry contacts.
• Taking ownership of aspects of key client relationships.
• Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior team members.
• Leading or contributing to cross‑departmental projects.
• Delivering presentations, training, seminars and supporting wider business development initiatives.
• Sharing market insights and supporting the development of new services and thought leadership.
• Meeting financial and performance targets while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
• Ensuring full compliance with SRA rules, data protection and all internal policies.

• Qualified lawyer with 2 years PQE and strong experience in insurance and property damage.
• A strong academic background.
• Hardworking, proactive, and highly organised.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to continue developing technical knowledge and expertise.
• Critical thinking skills and the confidence to challenge information appropriately.
