Win as a team

We are currently recruiting for Commercial Underwriter to join our Commercial Lines Underwriting team in Birmingham on a hybrid basis.

You’ll make an impact by:

Underwriting and negotiating new and/or existing Property & Casualty business within your authority

Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement

Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth

Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices

Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas

Representing our brand at broker meeting, industry events and field visits as needed

Your skills and experience:

Experience of Property & Casualty from an underwriting or broker backgroundA sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy

Relationships with Brokers in the Midlands region would be beneficial

Excellent communication skills

The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers
