Commercial Account Handler

Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for your next opportunity with a growing and well-established insurance business?

We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Account Handler to join a successful team in Birmingham, supporting a portfolio of commercial clients and working closely with Account Executives and insurers.

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing a high level of service.
• Handle new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and general policy administration.
• Obtain and negotiate quotations with insurers and underwriters.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurance markets.
• Support Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client accounts.
• Ensure documentation, compliance and FCA requirements are maintained.
• Identify opportunities to develop and grow existing client relationships.

• Previous experience within commercial insurance broking is essential.
• Strong knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident dealing with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Salary up to £40,000
