Open Door Project CIC is recruiting Community Learning Support / Bilingual Support Workers to support women during learning sessions and activities.
About the roleYou will play a vital role in helping learners feel comfortable, understood, and included. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community support and empowering women.
You will- Support learners during classes and workshops
- Provide bilingual or translation support where needed
- Offer one-to-one encouragement and practical help
- Support tutors to ensure sessions run smoothly
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
- Kind, patient, and trustworthy
- Confident communicating with others
- Supportive and approachable
- Comfortable working with women from diverse backgrounds
- Community support, volunteering, or lived experience welcomed
- No formal qualifications required
- Bilingual or multilingual applicants strongly encouraged
