We are looking for an expert to support our deaf service users as we continue to expand our services.

Within this role,you will coordinate and manage theday-to-day operations of our deaf interpreting services, ensuring the smoothand efficient delivery of service. You will be determined to sourcetheappropriate resources to meet the growing demand.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of BSL interpreting services.
  • Identifysharedobjectives that align with the goals of each department.
  • Build andmaintainrelationships with the deaf community across the UK
  • Deliver BSLvideointerpreting, where required, and occasional face to face
  • Deliver training to our clients about supporting the deaf community
  • Access our database of experienced interpreters andidentifyindividuals with relevant skills, experience, and availability to meet the client’s needs.
  • Recruit and onboard experienced BSL interpreters
Skills and Attributes Required
  • Hybrid role where you will alsobe required to come to our Edgbaston office
  • Registered BSL interpreter (RSLI) preferred
  • Have 2 or more years' experience supporting the deaf community
  • Must have strong organisation skills a master at problem solving and attention to detail whilst working under pressure.
  • Strong written English language skills
  • Be well organised with a high attention to detail
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word document styles
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and communicate and influence at senior levels
  • Effective communicator
    using phone, email, letters, reports, presentations and face-to face contact
  • Quickly assess the urgency and importance of tasks and act accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve results.
