Commercial Property Solicitor

Overview

The Firm: A small but progressive and well-established law firm with nationwide reach is seeking a talented Commercial Property Solicitor to join its busy Birmingham office comprising of around 14 members of staff. This role would be coming in to grow and develop their commercial property work within the team.

The Role: This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor to manage a varied and high-quality caseload of commercial property matters. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse client base and play a key role in delivering exceptional legal services.

• Handling commercial property purchases and sales
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters
• Managing business purchases and sales
• Dealing with lease assignments, transfers and renewals
• Advising on land development projects
• Drafting commercial leases, licences and agreements
• Conducting due diligence and overseeing all aspects of the transaction process
• Supporting business development initiatives and nurturing long-term client relationships

• Handling pharmacy purchases and sales

You will bring:

• Qualification as a Solicitor with experience in commercial property law
• Excellent knowledge of property transactions and lease work
• Good understanding of professional and ethical obligations
• LLB (Hons) and LPC (or equivalent qualifications)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and drafting skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to demonstrate engagement with wider issues in property and client care

• Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (DOE)
