A top 50 UK law firm, located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, is seeking a talented Employment Associate to join their high‑performing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters for a portfolio of household‑name clients across retail, manufacturing, and FMCG sectors.

You will part of a team recognised for its market‑leading expertise and commitment to delivering pragmatic, commercial advice.

• Advising clients on a wide range of employment law issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, restructurings, TUPE, and contractual disputes
• Acting on both contentious and non‑contentious matters, providing clear, commercially minded advice
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with household‑name companies
• Contributing to a high‑performing team and supporting its continued growth

• Qualified solicitor with proven experience in employment law
• Comfortable handling both contentious and advisory matters
• Experience advising clients in retail, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage a varied client portfolio
• Ambitious, collaborative, and motivated to thrive in a high‑performing environment
