Role Overview

We are working with a leading, multi-award-winning law firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join their expanding Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss team. The successful candidate will assist a Partner on high-value, complex large loss matters across motor, EL/PL and indemnity, taking on significant responsibility from day one.

You will be involved in liability investigations, policy coverage reviews, and quantum assessments, as well as court attendances, drafting, reporting, and direct client liaison. As relationships develop, there may be opportunities to lead your own lower-value large loss caseload. This is an excellent step for an ambitious lawyer looking to work with autonomy, build client relationships, and progress their career within a high-performing team.

• 3+ PQE with a strong background in personal injury litigation — defendant large loss experience ideal, but claimant experience with transferable skills also welcomed.
• Confident managing complex legal issues and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, hit chargeable targets, and deliver a consistently high standard of work.
• Experienced in handling investigations, reviewing medical evidence, taking witness statements, and managing multi-track matters.
• Excellent drafting skills with experience preparing legal documents, court materials, and client reporting.
• Comfortable attending court, CMCs, pre-trial meetings, and managing key client relationships.
