The Role

Property Damage Litigation Executive - Manchester / Bristol

A leading national law firm recognised for its expertise in insurance litigation and its collaborative, inclusive culture is now seeking a Paralegal to join its well-established Property Damage team.

In this role, you’ll support experienced solicitors on a varied caseload of defendant property damage matters, including claims arising from fires, floods, escapes of water, subsidence, and impact damage. The work involves defending claims on behalf of insurers, local authorities, and housing associations.

Your day-to-day work will include preparing court documents, managing evidence and disclosure, drafting witness statements, liaising with experts and counsel, and assisting in hearings and case conferences. You’ll also help progress files to resolution and contribute to maintaining strong client relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Paralegal seeking hands-on experience within a leading insurance practice and the chance to develop a career in litigation and property damage law.

The Candidate
  • Paralegal with experience in Property Damage or Defendant Insurance claims
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and a varied caseload effectively
  • Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills
  • A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with civil procedure, litigation process, and regulatory compliance
