Litigator, Employment Lawyer

This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.

• You’ll be managing employment tribunal cases associated with customers in a diverse portfolio of business clients and industry sectors
• As a key member of our team, you’ll enjoy extensive collaboration and can expect great visibility for you and your work

• Researching and preparing ET3 forms and making sure that responses are submitted on time
• Instructing and liaising with the counsel in order to deliver cost effectiveness
• Representing the client in hearings
• Preparing, lodging and presenting appeals

• A legal qualification and current practising certificate issued by an appropriate Legal Regulator, such as Solicitor’s Regulation Authority, Law Society of Scotland or otherwise
• Extensive knowledge of employment law and tribunal practice
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of decision making and problem solving in a risk assessment environment
• Good organisational and planning skills
• A high degree of organisational and business awareness as well as strong commercial acumen
