Birmingham Salary: £30,000 - £35,000  £6,000 Annual Company Performance Bonus Job Type: Full Time | Monday - Friday (39 Hours) The Opportunity A leading logistics provider is looking for an experienced European Road Freight Forwarder to join their growing operations team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with European road freight forwarding experience who enjoys managing shipments from start to finish while delivering first-class customer service.

You'll play a key role in coordinating UK and European road movements, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring every shipment is handled efficiently from booking through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end European road freight shipments across the UK and Europe. Coordinate collections, deliveries and transport movements with customers, carriers and overseas partners. Process bookings and ensure all shipments are managed accurately throughout their lifecycle. Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates and resolving any operational issues. Build and develop long-term customer relationships whilst identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

Ensure all operational documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures. Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or service issues. Produce customer reports, KPIs and operational updates where required. Attend customer meetings and support account management activities. Promote additional logistics services where appropriate. About You We're looking for someone with:
Previous experience within European Road Freight Forwarding . A strong understanding of European transport operations. Knowledge of EU customs procedures and documentation. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Confidence using freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office. The ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
