We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to support continued growth across our Infrastructure and Transportation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality procurement and commercial services within complex and high-profile projects.

Working with clients across the public and private sectors, you will draw on your procurement expertise, commercial acumen and leadership skills to deliver exceptional outcomes and high-quality services. You will work collaboratively with clients and supply chain partners to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex and dynamic challenges.

Your role
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to help us establish our Procurement expertise within the Midlands Commercial and Procurement team. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with our clients and will bring a growth mindset to build and strengthen key client relationships.
  • This role requires you to draw on your procurement, commercial and supply chain expertise to advise on and deliver a broad range of procurement and commercial requirements, while promoting procurement best practice, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and helping clients enhance their procurement and commercial capability. From shaping procurement strategies and leading sourcing activities through to supplier relationship management, you will help clients achieve maximum value from their supply chain ecosystem while delivering sustainable commercial outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with emerging leadership capabilities and the ability to develop strong consulting skills. You will be comfortable working in client-facing environments, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and evolving landscape.
About you
  • A Procurement Professional or Procurement Consultant with experience delivering procurements across major programmes and complex infrastructure environments within, construction, engineering, manufacturing, utilities, or UK Public Sector organisations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a client facing environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients and delivery partners
  • Demonstrates the ability to evaluate existing procurement practices, challenge established approaches and develop innovative solutions that improve project and commercial outcomes.
