About Us

At Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, we play a critical role in delivering healthcare and wellbeing products across Europe. Our wholesale distribution network helps ensure products reach customers efficiently, reliably and on time. We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Customer & Logistics Coordinator to support our specialist Trade Co operation within the Health & Beauty business.

The Role

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. The Role Trade Co supports large-scale customers who require bulk delivery services. Customer relationships and commercial negotiations are managed by our Trading Account Managers (TAMs), who work directly with customers to agree pricing, volumes and commercial terms. As Customer & Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure customer orders are accurately processed, assembled and delivered in line with agreed service levels.

To achieve this, you'll work closely with multiple teams including Commercial, Warehouse Operations, Inventory, Transport and Customer Finance. While you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, you won't be responsible for managing those functions directly. Instead, you'll act as the central coordinator, ensuring the right information reaches the right teams at the right time and that orders continue to move smoothly through the fulfilment process.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, problem solving and operational coordination. Success comes from attention to detail, managing priorities effectively and anticipating potential issues before they impact fulfilment or delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfilment Coordination
    • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure product, quantity, pricing and delivery information is correctly recorded.
    • Maintain visibility of all active orders and their progress through the fulfilment process.
    • Monitor expected supplier deliveries required to fulfil customer orders.
    • Work closely with Trading Account Managers to understand order priorities, deadlines and operational requirements.
    • Escalate fulfilment risks and exceptions promptly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Logistics & Delivery Coordination
    • Coordinate delivery bookings with customers and transport providers.
    • Support the planning and execution of customer deliveries.
    • Monitor delivery progress and communicate exceptions where necessary.
    • Liaise with warehouse and transport teams to help ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
    • Coordinate resolution of delivery and fulfilment-related issues with the appropriate operational teams.
  • Operational Control
    • Maintain operational trackers, records and reporting.
    • Monitor customer credit availability and elevate potential issues.
    • Support inventory management activities and stock reconciliation processes.
    • Ensure documentation and records are maintained in accordance with company procedures.
    • Support compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and ways of working.
    • Work collaboratively across departments to improve efficiency and service performance.
    • Support implementation of process improvements within the Trade Co operation.
    • Contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • We're looking for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple activities, working across teams and ensuring operational processes run smoothly.
  • Experience in logistics, fulfilment, supply chain, distribution, warehouse administration or operational support environments.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Confidence working with a variety of stakeholders across different functions.
  • The ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
  • Desirable Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Understanding of inventory control and stock management…
