Rate: Up to £500 per day, Inside IR35

We are supporting a large public sector organisation in Birmingham with the appointment of an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to join their Commercial and Procurement function.

The role will support the delivery of effective, evidence-based procurement and sourcing activity, helping the organisation achieve value for money while operating within appropriate governance and procurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of procurement strategies and new sourcing routes.
• Support procurement and tendering exercises, providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Build effective stakeholder relationships and act as a key point of contact for procurement and sourcing queries.
• Support supplier performance and risk management through effective collection and use of data.
• Support procurement activity in line with governance and assurance requirements.
• Contribute to the development of procurement guidance, toolkits and supporting materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement practice through systems and technology.
