Vehicle Technician (Working on a Fleet of Forklifts/Workshop Engineer)

Location: Castle Bromwich

Job Type: Permanent Nights – Monday to Thursday (4 nights, 8:00pm to 6:30am)

Salary: Up to £45,000 inclusive of shift allowance.
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays.

Job Overview: Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering full training. The role is suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be suitable as full training on the fleet will be provided. You’ll form part of a highly skilled team in a very reputable business.

The role is based at a client’s site doing mechanical and electrical service and repair of forklifts.

• Carry out service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of used forklift trucks.
• Order parts.
• Work nights (Permanent nights).

• Experience of working on vehicles, HGVs, forklifts, cars, plant machinery etc.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent.
• IT literate.
