Industrial Cleaning Operative Wetherby £13.14 per hour 40 hours per week | Flexibility required About the Role We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaning Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Wetherby. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with experience in industrial cleaning, maintenance, facilities, or general site upkeep. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and health & safety across multiple production areas.

Key Responsibilities Carry out cleaning duties across manufacturing and production areas Use industrial vacuum cleaners, sweepers, and cleaning equipment Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish using correct waste routes Manage recycling and waste removal procedures Maintain clean and tidy toilet and welfare facilities Assist with deep cleaning of machinery and equipment when required Support departments with general housekeeping and site maintenance Replace floor matting and assist with cleaning oil-contaminated areas Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures About You We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in industrial cleaning, maintenance, facilities, warehouse, or labouring roles Takes pride in keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe Is physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Has a proactive attitude and can work independently Is flexible and willing to support different areas of the site when required Understands the importance of health and safety in the workplace What's on Offer?
