A premier franchised main dealer in Birmingham is expanding its aftersales division and searching for a dedicated Vehicle Technician
. Working with the latest model lineup from a major global brand, this position focuses on high-standard servicing, recall work, and official warranty maintenance. The dealership offers fully funded factory training pathways, cutting-edge tooling, and strong earning capabilities.

• Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly productivity scheme

  Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair rotating rota

• Conduct routine manufacturer-scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and detailed vehicle health checks (VHC)
• Complete official warranty repairs, recall updates, and mechanical teardowns to strict brand guidelines
• Utilize official dealer diagnostic software to systematically trace and resolve engine, electrical, and software faults
• Document accurate technical reports on digital job cards and interface with service advisors regarding repair timelines
• Maintain clean working areas and enforce health and safety regulations at all times

• Background: Proven track record in a dealership or fast-paced workshop setting focused on efficient repair delivery
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served credential)
• MOT Status: Active MOT Tester accreditation is a strong asset for starting pay, but not essential to apply
• Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
