Ground Maintenance Operative – Birmingham
Are you an experienced Ground Maintenance Operative looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in Birmingham? Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team for a 3-month contract with potential for permanency. As a Ground Maintenance Operative, you’ll work closely with a housing association to enhance neighbourhood environments and ensure customer satisfaction.

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour PAYE inc Holiday | £17.21 per hour Umbrella
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
As a Ground Maintenance Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking gardening, garden clearance, and grounds maintenance for various properties in accordance with service specifications and schedules
- Performing seasonal external maintenance tasks such as hard landscaping, fencing repairs, and slab repairs
- Supporting estate management by maintaining high standards of presentation and supporting neighbourhood initiatives
- Using hand tools and mechanical horticultural equipment for tasks such as grass cutting, weeding, planting, and shrub maintenance
- Employing modern technology to assist in delivering efficient groundskeeping services while adhering to safety protocols
- Ensuring services are delivered promptly to promote positive customer perceptions and satisfaction
- Collaborating with team members and colleagues to share best practices and improve service efficiency
- Upholding health and safety standards at all times, including the use of PPE and compliance with risk assessments
- Recognising safeguarding concerns and acting swiftly when necessary
- Striving for continuous professional development to enhance service delivery
