Building Services Supervisor

This supervisory post oversees the upkeep of Warwickshire County Council's premises, including the cleaning and caretaking staff and contractors who work on them. The work centres on opening and closing buildings on time, keeping sites safe and secure, and carrying out routine maintenance. Shifts run from late morning into the evening, with weekend overtime and on-call standby every fourth weekend, and a mobile phone is supplied.

A valid driving licence is needed, and the post-holder must live within twenty minutes of site for emergency call-outs.

• Ensure buildings are opened and closed on time
• Keep buildings safe and secure, including using alarm systems
• Undertake routine maintenance work
• Supervise cleaning and caretaking staff and contractors
• Carry out site inspections
