Are you a hands-on leader with experience in supervisory or operational roles within transport or passenger operations? We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join our team in Birmingham.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will support the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day activities across transport and passenger operations. You’ll work closely with supervisors and operational teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe service delivery while driving performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing daily operations.

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of operational supervisors and staff.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards across all activities.

* Monitor performance metrics and contribute to operational improvements.

* Assist in resource planning, rostering, and operational scheduling.

* Previous experience in operational or supervisory roles within transport, passenger services, or related industries.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
