Position: Warehouse Manager (Permanent)

Warehouse Manager

* Up to £40,000 per year

* 47 hour week

* 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our steel stockholding warehouse.

Reporting directly to the Company Directors, you will manage warehouse staff, stock, transport, equipment and Health & Safety, ensuring a safe, efficient and well-organised operation. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example in a busy, physical warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supervising and training warehouse and driver staff

* Goods inwards/outwards, stock and quality control

* Order picking, packing and bar sawing

* Transport planning, loading/unloading and occasional driving

* Health & Safety compliance and housekeeping

* Maintenance of vehicles and equipment

* Security, key holding and overtime management

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in a steel stockholding or similar warehouse environment

* Previous supervisory experience (preferred)

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Forklift licence and full driving licence

* A reliable, hands-on and safety-focused approach
