Luxury Travel Manager

Luxury Travel Manager - Required for this established, luxury travel agency and tour operator based in Northamptonshire area. They are looking for an experienced Travel professional to join their team within the newly created role of Luxury Travel Manager, which will initially be booking travel for a portfolio of clients to Worldwide luxury travel destination but will be responsible for building a small team of consultants .

This role will be office based in the Northamptonshire area and will be working mainly Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm but flexibility will be required and may include some weekend cover too . The role offers a basic salary up to £35k dependent on experience along with pension and the opportunity to travel on luxury worldwide FAM trips.

• Assist clients with luxury worldwide tailor-made travel, offering the best products for the clients
• Building a small team of Travel Consultants and training and developing them to achieve and exceed targets based on service and sales
• Offering an exceptional level of service to clients and building repeat business
• Making sure all bookings are completed to a high level and error free
• Flexibility when required with working hours
• Passion for travel with an excellent level of travel knowledge across a variety of destinations and products

• Previous experience working in travel as a Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Senior Travel Consultant in Retail Travel or Tour Operations this is essential
• Excellent travel experience with exposure to Worldwide destinations and wide variety of products
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build a rapport with clients to generate repeat clients
• The ability to work well as part of a team and independently on marketing activities
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask under pressure
• Competency in using the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ideally have experience managing and developing travel consultants
• Excellent attention to detail and be able to complete work to a high level
• Flexibility on hours when required
