Overview
Research Contracts Operations Co-ordinator role at University of Bristol. This is a new, hybrid, part-time role (28 hours per week) within the Division of Research, Enterprise and Innovation. The team focuses on strategic and operational development of Research Contracts, with emphasis on process improvement, automation, administration, and knowledge management. The role acts as the front door for customers, coordinates team communications and events, and represents the team externally as needed.
Whatwill you be doing?
You will contribute to day-to-day operations and strategic development of the team via knowledge management, process improvements, and automation. Some duties may include:
- Learning about the latest in legal operations and technology, and implementing/managing process improvements and automations
- Creating innovative working practices and managing internal and external knowledge management
- Assisting the Ops Manager with data maintenance, metrics, and reports under the direction of the Head of Team/Ops Manager
- Engaging with counterparts in other DREI and Faculty Teams to represent Research Contracts
- Being a visible figure in customer relations and management

We are looking for someone with energy, pro-activity, creativity and organisation who can work with the Head of Team and the team to evolve continuous improvement. The role requires adaptability to a constantly changing and fast-paced environment and the ability to help manage processes as regulatory landscapes shift.
The role will be a hybrid role. You will be required to obtain Enhanced BPSS Clearance.
