This role is about more than pipeline and proposals. It’s about relationships, collaboration and building opportunities that genuinely add value—for our clients, our brands and our people.

You’ll act as a commercial ambassador for the Group, working closely with leaders across Ampa to bring the full strength of our offering to market. With a clear view of our priorities and a strong understanding of the market, you’ll help ensure our growth is thoughtful, aligned and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities Driving commercial growth
  • Represent Ampa confidently and credibly in the market.
  • Identify, develop and help convert high‑value opportunities.
  • Build a strong, forward‑looking pipeline aligned to Group and brand strategy.
  • Stay close to market trends, client needs and competitor activity.
  • Shape clear, persuasive proposals and business cases.
Building trusted relationships
  • Develop strong, trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work in close partnership with brand leaders across the Group.
  • Bring clarity and consistency to how we show up commercially.
Turning ambition into action
  • Translate Group goals into clear, workable commercial plans.
  • Partner with marketing on go‑to‑market activity and campaigns.
  • Keep commercial priorities and growth targets front of mind.
Leading and developing people
  • Lead, support and develop a high‑performing business development team.
  • Create a culture of accountability, learning and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, feedback and clear development pathways.
  • Encourage collaboration across teams and brands.
Working across the Group
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, operations and brand teams.
  • Support pitches, pricing approaches and client journeys.
  • Spot and champion opportunities that bring different parts of Ampa together.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Experience and skills
  • Senior business development or commercial leadership experience.
  • Strong commercial judgement and a track record of driving growth.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • The ability to communicate commercial priorities clearly and confidently.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, multi‑brand environment.
