Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)

Oldbury, West Midlands

From £55,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)

Full-Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday

We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered Children’s Residential Home in Oldbury (B69).

This is a permanent opportunity for a strong leader with proven EBD experience and a successful track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

• Full operational management of the children’s residential home
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
• Lead, supervise and develop the staff team
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
• Maintain high standards of care and risk management
• Manage care planning and placement stability
• Liaise with Local Authorities, professionals and families
• Maintain occupancy and ensure effective home performance

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Residential Home
• Experience supporting young people with EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Proven record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted reports
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and compliance
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must live locally and be able to commute daily to B69

Base salary starting from £55,000 per annum
