Field Repair Manager – Birmingham, Stannah

We’re now looking for a Field Repair Manager to join our Birmingham branch management team—someone ready to drive operational performance, inspire a skilled workforce, and help us exceed our business goals. In this role, you’ll lead a team of talented Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them to deliver against our Minor Repairs Plan objectives. Your remit will span across all makes and models of Lifts.

You’ll be based at our Birmingham Service Branch, with regular travel across the region. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Monday to Thursday  and Friday

• Efficiently plan engineer workloads, including the allocation of repair works.
• Maintain a portfolio.
• Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, conduct risk assessments and method statements.
• Carry out regular site monitoring.
• Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.

• Previous experience working within the lift industry or a similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
• Relevant management qualifications would be desirable.
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
