This Senior Project Manager role would suit an experienced consultant with a strong healthcare background who is confident managing complex projects through the full project lifecycle. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes across a varied portfolio. In addition to healthcare schemes, the Senior Project Manager will gain exposure to major transport projects and parking infrastructure developments, providing a diverse and rewarding workload.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will lead projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Acting as lead Senior Project Manager across healthcare and infrastructure projects
Managing projects through all RIBA stages
Developing and maintaining project programmes and delivery strategies
Coordinating consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
Leading client meetings and project reporting
Managing project budgets, risks and change control processes
Supporting procurement and tender activities
Overseeing contract administration processes
Monitoring construction activities and project performance
Ensuring projects are delivered in line with client objectives and regulatory requirements
Mentoring and supporting junior project management professionals
The Senior Project Manager
The successful Senior Project Manager will have:
Previous construction consultancy experience
Strong healthcare project experience
Experience delivering projects through the full project lifecycle
Exposure to transport, infrastructure or public sector projects would be advantageous
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Strong programme, commercial and risk management capabilities
Experience administering or working under JCT and/or NEC contracts
Chartered status or progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent
Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior team members
