Overview
Join our Midlands Project Management team as a Project Manager, delivering a wide range of schemes across commercial office, industrial/logistics, aviation, education and government sectors. Based in Birmingham (or Nottingham), you'll play a key role in managing projects from inception through to completion, taking ownership of delivery and developing trusted client relationships. This is a hands‑on role where you bring structure, control and leadership to project delivery, working as part of an integrated, collaborative team.
Your role- Manage projects (or work streams on larger programmes) across the full lifecycle.
- Act as a day‑to‑day client interface, supporting high‑quality service delivery.
- Lead coordination of multi‑disciplinary teams and drive programme and design progress.
- Manage project governance, reporting, and decision‑making processes.
- Monitor and manage cost, risk and programme performance.
- Support procurement strategies and contract administration (JCT / NEC).
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors.
- Contribute to bid submissions and help identify repeat business opportunities.
- Support and mentor Graduate / Assistant PMs.
- Degree qualified with relevant post‑graduate experience.
- Working towards or recently achieved chartership (APM, RICS, CIOB).
- Proven experience delivering projects within UK construction environment.
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and governance.
- Experience working with public sector clients or commercial developers.
- Confident communicator with solid commercial awareness.
